Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Roslyn, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,733 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year in CVOR required; 2 years preferred License: NY State License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience preferred; Travel experience required Description: CVOR Registered Nurse needed. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room. Shifts could be 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Responsibilities include assisting in various cardiovascular surgical procedures. Candidates should be proficient in cardiac monitoring and conscious sedation monitoring. Ability to scrub for cardiovascular and vascular surgery is essential. Experience with ECMO, aortic aneurysm repair, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement is preferred. Knowledge of infection control and universal protocol is required. Candidates should possess skills in patient care functions and teamwork within an interdisciplinary setting. The position requires strong communication skills. Ability to handle emergency situations effectively is necessary. Additional experience in travel nursing is beneficial.
