We are looking for an experienced Vendor Compliance Deductions Analyst to bring their knowledge to IAB! If you have proficiency working in retailer portals such as Amazon, Walgreens, Target, Walmart, CVS, BJ's or Dollar General and have a 'take charge' personality, you may be our next WOW candidate!
The Vendor Compliance Deductions Analyst partners with an IAB client, researching and resolving Accounts Receivable pain points in the world of Deductions. You'll be a superhero for our clients, helping to drive money back to their bottom-line that they otherwise may have missed out on.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:


  • Have a working knowledge of vendor compliance issues specifically relating to logistics.
  • Have a proven track record of identifying, researching, and validating or recovering customer compliance claims.
  • Ability to identify dispute and recover invalid, unsubstantiated claims.
  • Ability to identify issues and recommend corrective measures.
  • Experience generating reports showing compliance activity, results and insights.
  • Display strong initiative, self-management, resourcefulness and motivation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our clients, vendors and carriers by providing excellent customer service along with strong communication skills verbally and in writing

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Investigate reasons for deductions due to shipping errors and non-compliance penalties.
    • Identify the issues causing chargebacks using vendor routing guides.
    • Communicate customer compliance requirements for corrective action.
    • Check customer portals, on a daily basis, to identify new chargebacks.
    • Dispute invalid chargebacks and follow-up until resolved.
    • Compile customer metrics and provide activity reporting
    • Work with A/R, customer service and finance team to gather required information
    • Communicate/Collaborate customer requests with IT/EDI dept when appropriate.
    • Work with internal teams to ensure policy compliance to avoid penalties
    • Monitor existing exemptions and identify opportunities to file additional exemptions when warranted.
    • Maintain record of customer vendor manuals, including all requirements and metrics
    • Work with transportation/logistics teams to obtain and maintain Proof of Delivery and appointment scheduling data
    • Work with internal and external partners to obtain and maintain dispute support (i.e. carrier e-mails; portals)
    • Create customer specific chargeback activity reports
    • Determine root cause of customer specific compliance issues

        Requirements:

        • High School Diploma or equivalent
        • Good verbal and written communication skills
        • Highly motivated, organized, reliable and detail-oriented
        • Can-do attitude with ability to work independently within a team environment
        • Problem solver with strong analytical skills
        • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced, innovative environment
        • Microsoft Excel proficiency
        • A/R Deduction and Compliance experience
        • Experience in SAP and other ERP systems
        • Must maintain client confidentiality
