responsibilitiesSupport and maintain variety of Vacuum Systems,
Cleaners, Metrology used in manufacturing of precision optical thin
film coatings. The ability to read and understand schematics and
manuals, as well as follow written and verbal work instructions is
required.Troubleshooting and quick decision making is needed on a
daily basis.Vacuum training and understanding of controls
integration is a must.The candidate should be able to maintain,
evaluate, troubleshoot, and tear down and rebuild
equipment.Installation of equipment, modifications to existing
equipment.Preventative and predictive maintenance, ability to
perform, define, and enhance.Replacement parts; identification,
acquisition and safe guarding of spare parts ability to at times
find supplier with urgency.Maintain safety stock, organized in a 5S
LEAN way, with accurate availability.Continuous Improvement of the
maintenance program; from enhancing preventive & predictive
maintenance,to acquiring and safe guarding critical spare
parts.Education and experienceElectro-mechanical education: AA
degree, Technician Certification, Military or equivalent
experience.Significant job experiences can be considered.Proven
knowledge (3-8 Years) of Vacuum/Thin Films machine
repair/maintenance and/or related technical experience.Advanced
high vacuum pump knowledge and service : "Cryogenic, dry pumps, and
turbo molecular".Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience-
PLC experience preferred.Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
experience- light fabrication knowledge a plus.Microsoft Word,
Excel, SAP or similar, required.SkillsWorking at the cutting edge

keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist,
reach, and stretch.The employee may occasionally lift and/or move
up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job
