Job Description:

1st shift Laser Operator, Temp to Hire opening. Hours are 4:00 pm am to 12:30 am

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Operator must be proficient with both technologies and the use of hand tools, micrometers, calipers and a variety of gages or fixtures.
  
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance functions on the machine and related equipment.
  
• Perform set up activities and make required cutting parameter adjustments to achieve optimum machine performance, material usage and meet part quality requirements.
  
• Responsible for verifying product quality of parts produced and verification of production rates.
  
• Accurately record quantities produced, scrap and time worked. Use all applicable available safety equipment and maintain cleanliness of immediate work area.
  
• Must be proficient in mathematics.
  
• Must be proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying information from blueprints and manufacturing data packages.
  
• Must have experience in the use of Windows based computer operating system and software as applicable to this process.
  
• Experience with CNC machinery or related equipment a plus.
  
• Must be proficient in both CNC laser cutting and CNC waterjet cutting technology machine operation.
