Job Title : Infrastructure Project Manager
Location : Milford, CT
Term : Contract
The Sr. Project manager is accountable for the successful
delivery of portfolio / program strategy, implementation, budget,
and timelines. This role must be able to deliver multiple work
streams using "standard" waterfall and / or agile delivery methods.
For assigned programs the Sr. PM needs to adhere to and deliver the
agreed scope to the aligned budget and timeline. Must develop a
deep understanding of the ecosystem, the users, the market place,
competitors and future trends that relate to the industry. The Sr.
Project Manager will work closely with the Portfolio lead, Scrum
Master and delivery team. Ultimately this role is accountable to
lead and manage the successful delivery of the program work streams
on time, on budget, and within scope in accordance with business
priorities. Throughout the program, the Sr. PM manages various
stakeholders and provides executive updates to the sponsors.
Create Technology Information Security project plans with the help
of the Technology and Information Security teams.
Actively manage and close-out Technology Information Security
Facilitate all project-related status meetings, documentation,
and communications with Technology and Information Security team
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify
dependencies, identify potential crises risks, and devise
contingency plans to manage those scope changes and risks.
Collaborate with other Project Managers within the PMO to
implement best practices and tools for project execution and
Collaborate with Technology and Information Security teams to
define and write up requirements for project work.
Collaborate with upper management within Technology and
Information Security when executing and monitoring project work to
ensure project requirements are met on time, on budget and within
Proven experience of successfully managing Technology projects
in mid to large organizations
Extensive experience with core PM tools including Microsoft
Project, Microsoft SharePoint & Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word,
Excel, Visio, etc.)
Minimum of 10 years in a Project management role.
Minimum of 4 years in Technology and Information Security
Information Security related projects
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources ,
including upper management, peers, and other departments.
Can confirm to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Executive communication and upward stakeholder management.
Examples: Project plan, budget, and scope management. 90% on
time, and 85% on budget.
