Job Description Job Description Job Title: Case Picker and Reach Truck Operator Job Description The Case Picker and Reach Truck Operator is responsible for accurately picking and staging cases for shipment using a reach truck and other material handling equipment. This role ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining safety and inventory integrity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Mixed shifts are available. Responsibilities Operate reach trucks proficiently in narrow aisles and high racks. Accurately pick cases based on order sheets or RF scanners. Ensure correct product counts to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage. Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards. Navigate digital systems for tracking and updating inventory. Essential Skills Reach truck operation and proficiency. Certification in forklift/reach truck operation. Experience with RF scanners. Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Basic mechanical troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 3 months of experience within the last year. Ability to operate at least two out of three specified machines. Pass E-Verify. Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification. Communication skills for effective team interaction. Problem-solving abilities for minor equipment issues. Adaptability to work in changing environments. Experience in logistics or distribution centers, especially in fast-paced or high-volume operations. Knowledge of Lean or 5S Principles. Bilingual abilities in Spanish/English are valuable. Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse setting, which may include extremely cold storage or ambient temperature zones. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, emphasizing a team-oriented culture with a safety-first mindset. Shift-based work is required, with availability for day, night, or weekend shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hackensack, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
