multiple myeloma. Legend Biotech is seeking a Warehouse Specialist
as part of the Technical Operations team based in Raritan, NJ .
Shift : Sun-Thursday 4PM - 12:30AM (Flexibility to Change) Role
Overview The Warehouse Specialist will be part of the Technical
Operations team responsible for inventory management in support of
production of a personalized cell therapy to support both clinical
and commercial requirements in a sterile cGMP environment. The
individual will work closely and collaboratively with Warehouse
Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Scheduling, Planning
and Procurement. In addition to inventory activities, this position
will be responsible for performing inbound and outbound shipments
and general warehouse activities as needed. Key Responsibilities
Serves as a subject matter expert for inventory management and
warehouse operations/logistics. Interprets and analyzes demand and
usage of various materials including (but not limited to) critical
supplies, clinical materials, components, and consumables to ensure
inventory coverage and supply readiness. Monitors, maintains,
updates, investigates, and analyzes physical and virtual inventory,
performs inventory related projects, and provides information that
will aid in decision making for inventory balances and control
processes, and process improvements related to inventory Monitors
inventory life cycle and alerts appropriate team members to any
actionable inventory requirements and disruption to supply.
Performs cycle counts to validate and improve inventory accuracy
and control. Performs daily processes for physical counting,
storage, and replenishment and manages those processes within the
electronic inventory management system. Prepares, reviews and
maintains documentation, runs reports, metrics, coordinates and
schedules with internal stakeholders. Assists with the development
of investigations and root cause analyses on any inventory supply
risks, disruptions or other quality related issues. Perform daily
warehouse operation processes, including inbound, outbound, storage
and replenishment. Assists in regulatory inspections, performs
various quality and financial related audits, and answers relevant
questions about packaging, methods, storage, and inventory for
internal and external stakeholders. Trains and follows standard
operating procedures and work instructions and comply with cGMP
regulations and safety guidelines. Establish key stakeholder
relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to
interact with all levels within the organization. Job duties
performed routinely require exposure to and handling of biological
materials and hazardous chemicals. Job duties may include operating
an industrial vehicle; Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and
stand for a long period of time. Distance visual acuity of at least
20/30 (Snellen) in both eyes without corrective lenses or visual
acuity corrected to 20/30 (Snellen) or better with corrective
lenses. Using Audiometric Devices: No average hearing loss in the
better ear greater than 40 decibels at 500 Hz, 1000Hz and 2000Hz
with or without a hearing aid. Requirements Minimum of high school
diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and work
experience is required. Experience within warehouse operations,
logistics, manufacturing, inventory and/or shipping & receiving
within a cGMP manufacturing environment in the biotech/biopharma
industry and/or equivalent combination of education and work
experience is required. Clear and succinct verbal and written
communication skills with an attention to detail and the ability to
follow procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. Knowledge of cGMP
regulations and FDA guidelines. Experience using material handling
equipment, SAP, or similar inventory management system is required.
Cold supply chain knowledge and forklift truck license is
preferred. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for a long
period of time. Physical dexterity sufficient to use computers and
documentation. Ability to accommodate shift work including evenings
and weekends as required by operational needs. Li-RN1 Li-Onsite The
