Overview
Waters Corporation is leading a search for a Technical Analyst to join our Global Quality Assurance organization. -Reporting to the Vice President, Global Quality Assurance, this role will be a key support member of the Global Quality Assurance leadership team, providing coordination and alignment between various geographic regions and Quality Assurance functional areas to support the achievement of key priorities. -

  Responsibilities
  The -Technical Analyst, Global Quality Assurance role will blend elements of administrative assistance, project management, logistical team support and management of key communication vehicles to ensure that activities within Global Quality Assurance are coordinated, timely, appropriate for intended purpose, and effectively communicated. - Activities such as generating reports, assembling scorecard data, performing analyses, coordinating key department functions and activities and developing presentations will be key responsibilities of this role.

  • Maintaining the Global Quality Assurance Teams presence as a source of information on goal status, training and educational sources within Quality Assurance, key Quality Assurance deliverables such as Management Review, and the status of key improvement initiatives
    
  • Coordinating teams within QA working on initiatives such as the Competitive Advantage projects, document control cohort and the internal audit cohort
    
  • Performing data analysis and project status reporting on key initiatives
    
  • Maintaining action plans on key initiatives, ensuring that due dates are known and communicated, and that on-time completion is adequate
    
  • Coordinating regular budget reviews with the Quality Leadership Team and finance, ensuring that commitments to budget initiatives are documented and followed up
    
  • Recording minutes of key meetings such as management review, QLT, townhalls, etc---, capturing actions and intended completion dates and following up on those actions to ensure that they are completed on time
    
  • Serving as the point of contact for internal communications such as recognition awards, service anniversaries, key milestones for inclusion in townhall and departmental meetings
    
  • Working with leaders throughout Quality Assurance to identify opportunities to improve working culture and group morale and ensuring that those initiatives are effective
    
  • Performing report generation, collection and analysis of information, supporting document routing, and presentation preparation
    
  • Coordinating key meetings and forums to support significant Global Quality Assurance activities and execution of strategy
    
    A successful person in this role will be diligent, thorough, detail-oriented, pro-active and have strong interpersonal skills. - Effective verbal and written skills are essential.
    Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • An Associates Degree is required, a Bachelor's Degree is highly desired
      
    • Work experience within some form of technical organization is desired
      
    • Demonstrated success -in managing multiple tasks
      
    • Demonstrated ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally within a professional environment
      
    • Willingness and ability to learn and work independently and with limited supervision
      
    • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to work within time constraints
      
    • A self-starter, high energy level, the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas, and a strong desire to contribute and succeed.
      
    • Be proactive, strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
      
    • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.
      
    • Able to travel on a minimal basis if needed.
