Job Description Job Description Job description: Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Department, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Collaborate with the ED team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Take charge of the department as needed and serve as a preceptor to new staff, providing guidance and support. Perform therapeutic interventions, monitor patient progress, and document care in alignment with hospital standards. Assist in managing patient flow and coordinating care in a fast-paced environment. Maintain strong communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure patient-centered care. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Charge nurse experience and prior experience as a preceptor are essential Required Certifications & Licensure: RN License in the State of Maine BLS ACLS certification PALS - Preferred Minimum of 2 years of previous ER nursing experience Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
