Physical Therapist Trainer for the Scarsdale School District in New

in being considered. Edu cation and Qualifications Must have an
advanced degree from an accredited college or university Be a
Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer Must have fulfilled all
requirements of the NATA Board of Certification exam and state
licensure or regulation as determined by New York State Be a
licensed Physical Therapist Must have fulfilled all requirements of
the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
(CAPTE) and state licensure or regulation as determined by New York
State. Duties Demonstrate an ability to perform functions regarding
athletic injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment, as set forth
by the NATA National Athletic Trainer Association) Board of
Certification Advise students/athletes and coaches on the proper
use of braces, taping, and other devices used to prevent injuries
Determine an individual's readiness to participate in athletics
Report directly to Athletic Director Provide Athletic Trainer
coverage for all home athletic contests, away football games, ice
hockey contests, championship volleyball, wrestling and
cheerleading tournaments hosted by Scarsdale Saratoga Medical
