Headache & Facial Pain Disorders Nationally Recognized in
Neurosciences Physician Opportunities Hackensack University Medical
Center Hackensack, New Jersey The Comprehensive Headache Center in
the Department of Neurology at Hackensack University Medical Center
(HUMC), a major academic medical center within the Hackensack
Meridian Health system, is recruiting a full time neurologist who
has completed an accredited Headache Medicine fellowship & is BE/BC
by ABPN & UCNS. The successful candidate will be interested in
teaching medical & graduate students residents & in addition to
clinical work, conducting sponsored & investigator initiated
research (supported by 3 research coordinators). In the Center a
rapidly expanding interprofessional team provides state-of-the-art
treatment options for all headache &? facial pain syndromes.
Besides 2 fellowship trained headache specialists, the Center?
features 1 dedicated headache APN & 1 health & 2
neuro-psychologists & has access? to an infusion center, rehab
therapists & dietitians are available. We are cognizant of? health
care disparities & strive to provide an individually tailored
approach to diagnosing and treating patients. Faculty rank at
Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine? will be commensurate with
experience.? This position will be recruited by the Center
Director, Regina Krel, MD, Assistant Professor of Neurology at the
School of Medicine, & Florian P. Thomas, MD, PhD,? Professor &
Founding Chair of the Department of Neurology at HUMC & the School?

$258,056. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a
reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this

specific location. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a
manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within
the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding:
Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job
position may impact the pay that can be offered. In addition to our
compensation for full-time and part-time (20 hours/week) positions,
HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health,
