Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse - 12 Hour Nights Location Bronx, NY This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts starting at 7 PM, with an average of 34.5 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is required to accommodate permanent staff needs. Job Description The Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse will be responsible for patient management in all phases of interventional procedures. The role requires effective communication with physicians and mid-level providers regarding patient care plans and any changes to patient disposition. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and charting as per the Radiology Flowsheet. Manage patient care pre, intra, and post-procedure. Perform IV insertions and CT preparations for scheduled patients. Collaborate with staff on cases, including complex vascular procedures and various biopsies. Assist with patient monitoring in conjunction with sedation cases and injections for pain management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology. Proficient in IV starts. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
