Job Description & Requirements Neurology StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: M-F, 8-5PM with call rotation Pay Rate: $350000.00 - $350000.00 Practice general neurology with dedicated EMG time, low call, and strong support from advanced practice providers (APPs). New Jersey health system seeks a BE/BC General Neurologist to join its hospital-based team in Northern New Jersey. This includes clinic and inpatient duties (approximately one inpatient day per week), teaching opportunities, and a role in expanding neurology services. Connect with us today to learn more. Opportunity Highlights Perform EMGs as a core component of your practice Split care across inpatient and outpatient; inpatient about one day weekly Low call; weeknights mostly phone-based with rare hospital visits; weekend rounding Receive experienced advanced practice provider (APP) support See 16-20 clinic patients daily with 40-minute new and 20-minute follow-ups Conduct EMG and nerve conduction studies during at least two half-days weekly Avoid acute stroke codes; the telestroke team handles tenecteplase (TNK) decisions Teach and mentor with the GME program launching in 2025 Help build toward a comprehensive neurology service with new biplane capability Community Information Live and work in the highly desirable Northern New Jersey -a fantastic suburb of New York City.
