Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State License required Certifications: ARRT R required Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC Charting preferred - EKG testing is required within 72 hours of signing Description: X-Ray Tech needed for night shifts. The shift is from Thursday to Monday. Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This position involves adult acute care and adult outpatient procedures. Skills required include bedside/portable procedures, ER, ICU, and operating room experience. Radiological procedures include abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), and abdomen upright. Chest procedures include chest AP, chest lateral decubitus, chest routine, and upper airway imaging. Head imaging and lower extremity procedures such as ankle, femur, foot, and knee are required. Mobile and surgical skills are necessary for C-Arm procedures and portable imaging. Professional knowledge includes infection prevention, isolation precautions, and radiation safety. The tech will perform imaging for spine, pelvis, and upper extremity including clavicle and trauma shoulder. Electronic documentation will be done using EPIC. Candidates must have familiarity with various imaging procedures and protocols. The unit accepts first-time travelers and prefers candidates with local experience.
