• Employment Type: TravelJob Title: Clinical Nurse - CSICU (Cardiac Surgical ICU)Location: New York, NY 10025Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Every Other Weekend (EOW) -Payment Breakdown: -$20/ hr. on W2 ($720 weekly) + $50/hr. as Stipend ($1,800 weekly max stipend) -Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to post-cardiac surgery patients using the nursing process and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to plan and coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about care plans, recovery, and health maintenance.
  • Perform bedside shift reports, purposeful hourly rounding, and support patient experience initiatives.
  • Ensure patient safety, document care accurately, and report any risks or concerns.
  • Manage unit operations as needed, including charge nurse duties and resource management.
  • Support professional development through continuous learning and ethical practice.Qualifications:
    • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
    • BLS Certification required.
    • Minimum 2 years of Post-Open Heart and Cardiac Care Unit RN experience.
    • EPIC experience highly preferred.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate Degree in Nursing acceptable with relevant experience or active enrolment in a BSN program. -Unit Information:

      *Unit Size: 26 beds
      *Staffing Ratio: 1:2
