Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Surgical Services, the Nurse Manager Operating Room will oversee overall operations of the 10+ operating rooms, and be supported by a team of registered nurses, nursing assistants, assistant nurse managers, and nurse educators. As the leader of the department with over 65+ direct reports, the Nurse Manager Operating Room will be a resource and advocate to their team through utilizing an open door policy, coaching and mentoring staff, creating a team oriented and collaborative working environment, being a transparent communicator, and initiating disciplinary action as needed.
