members to help us continue to grow and succeed. Job Summary: The
Vice President of Federal Sales is responsible for Thinklogical's
US Military & Intelligence business. This role will define and
communicate sales strategy in line with short and long-term
business objectives. The VicePresident of Federal Sales will lead a
team of Sales Directors, who may be located both foreign and
domestic. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent
leadership skills and experience in working with the Military and
Intelligence market, as well as have extensive experience with the
government procurement processes. This position will be located
primarily in the Washington, DC area. Responsibilities:
- Sales Targets: Ownership for a defined set of sales targets
aligned to the responsibilities of the role, taking accountability
for meeting and exceeding these targets over a sustained
- Lead Sales Organization: Create, develop and lead a
professional and high performance sales organization to deliver
growth in revenue in existing accounts, maximize share of wallet
and develop new accounts.
- Execute Sales Plan: Strategically plan, develop and execute
against Sales Plans to meet the strategic goals of the organization
and drive profitable growth.
- Implement Programs: Lead and implement programs to optimize
against targets. Including customer account reviews, embedding
sales processes and tools, organizational design of teams and
management of performance.
- Reporting: Measure/report business performance utilizing
Thinklogical tools and methodologies.
- Competitive Benchmarking: Build a strong appreciation of the
competitive market, keeping abreast of key trends, predictions and
activities to ensure the sales organization has strong professional
relationships with key influencers.
- Building Relationships: Build long-term, value-adding
relationships with Channel partners and End Customers.
- New Opportunities: Drive business development activities
through the region including identification of new market
- Coaching: Coach sales to executive their sales plans.
Coordinate new product introduction and lead contract negotiations
- Vision & Goals: Communicate vision, goals and objectives.
Provide timely and relevant communication to the team to enable
maximum performance and understand their role in Thinklogical's
growth. Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Sales, or relevant
- 8 years of related industry experience, with 5+ years
-experience in a sales leadership
- Extensive successful experience in working with Military and
- Experience selling AV, VTC and or VDI is a plus; including
selling legacy solutions considered competitive to
- Past military or intelligence experience prior to a sales
career is a plus
