Executive responsibility for Milford Campus, a recently acquired
106 bed acute care hospital with 600 FTEs and 250 employed, faculty
practice, and community physicians. This includes oversight of all
clinical, ancillary, support services, strategic and business
development activities in collaboration with key functional and
service line leaders. Key Milford Campus integration and growth
focus activities includes stabilization of operations;
standardization and optimization of tools, process and protocols;
and expanding and enhancing clinical services and financial
performance to create a thriving age friendly destination hospital.
In addition, the executive responsible for overall Bridgeport
Hospital clinical program planning and implementation oversight to
include key YNHHS service line growth and expansion
initiatives.

leadership responsibilities at both Bridgeport and Milford
Campuses. 1. Lead and provide executive oversight for all aspects
of integration of Milford campus with BH and YNHHS - operations,
patient experience, safety/quality, and financial performance,
business development and strategy alignment. 1.1 Develop and deploy
campus leadership onboarding, training and development in
partnership with HR and IFE. 1.2 Connect with community
organizations, leaders and physicians to establish, enhance and/or
expand existing BH, YNHHS and YM relationships. 1.3 Maintain and
establish effective campus specific communications and public
relations platforms. 1.4 Sponsor cultural integration committee
responsible for integrating culture across BH, MC, YNHHS and our
community. 1.5 Complete MC integration and clinical services gap
assessment against the original vision, state commitments and
workplan. 1.6 Re-evaluate organization structure in the context of
the integration and vision realization. 1.7 Develop workplans
associated with the above assessments. 1.8 In partnership with
physician and nursing leadership, drive full implementation of HRO
principles and culture shift. 1.9 Establish Milford campus as age
friendly destination hospital in partnership with BH, YNHHS, and
YM. 2. Lead the development and operational implementation of a
strategic agenda and plan that will support overall growth and
improvement at BH. 2.1 Develop strategic business plans in
collaboration with clinical program leaders and service line
leaders to meet the needs of the region. 2.2 Develop and implement
new and growing clinical programs in the region as part of ongoing
updating of the regional growth plan. 2.3 Coordinate standards
implementation and program planning with service line leaders,
health system leaders and local delivery network leadership to
ensure optimal site and resource utilization and achievement of
performance targets (patient experience, safety and quality,
employee and physician engagement and financial performance). 2.4
Identify facility optimization opportunities and new facility
opportunities as part of the regional growth plan. 2.5 Identify
marketing and outreach needs to support the business plan and
promote community awareness of the programs. 2.6 Assist in
cascading the plan throughout the organization through goal
development and accountability processes throughout the year. 3.
Stay abreast of regional competition to drive the areas of focus
for growth plans in alignment with the Health System plan. 4.1
Establish, monitor and improve key performance metrics 4.2--
Enlists BH and YNHHS leadership team to achieve optimal
organizational results. 4.3 Participates in the preparation of
complete financial activity, including variance reports, financial
projections and other statistical reports. 4.4 Directs the
operation of the division and its component units to provide high
quality, cost effective patient services. 4.5 Prepares operating
and capital budgets for the division; forecasts demand for services
and conducts trending analysis.-- 4.6 Monitors overall performance
of the division against a pre-defined set of outcomes measures of
performance standards - financial, clinical quality and service,
and implement programs to close any gap in performance. 4.7
Continuously advances the operational effectiveness and efficiency
of the division through process redesign, continuous quality
initiatives, benchmarking, productivity studies, the development of
clinical and management information systems and the introduction of
new technologies. 4.8 A dvance safety and quality and enact
operational practices that improve these metrics for our patients
and employees. 4.10 Advance improvement in employee engagement
through daily leadership activities and improvement efforts. 4.11
Advance diversity, equity and inclusion in daily leadership
activities and decisions. 4.12 Continually strive to improve the
patient and visitor experience and keep the patient at the center
of decisions. 4.13 Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications EDUCATION --
Masters prepared in healthcare administration or related field.
EXPERIENCE --: Ten (10) years of progressive responsibility working
in healthcare administration; a minimum of 5 years experience in a
leadership position in healthcare. SPECIAL SKILLS : Ability to
lead, organize and relate well to a wide variety of people.
Flexibility and ability to effectively navigate YNHHS at all levels
of the organization, engage and influence internal and external
constituencies. Excellent communications and decision making
skills. Excellent relationship management skills. ACCOUNTABILITY
--: Leads and enhances Milford campus operations, patient
experience, safety/quality, and financial performance and strategy
alignment. Sponsors continuity of elements of history, traditions
and culture for the Milford campus, as well as the integration of
cultural identities across multiple campuses. Represents Milford
campus, BH, and system internally and externally. Ensures
integration and organizational objectives are achieved. In personal
