Planning – What It Is & Why It Matters Program planning is the
backbone of successful, complex projects. Planners translate
strategic goals into detailed, time?phased schedules, identify
risks, and provide the data that leaders need to make informed
decisions. Think of it as the “navigation system” for
multidisciplinary programs - guiding resources, milestones, and
deliverables from concept to completion. If you have ever
coordinated construction timelines, managed curriculum rollouts,
planned hospitality events, coordinated healthcare programs,
overseen product launches, or synchronized mission?critical
operations, you already practice the core of program planning. This
role gives you the chance to sharpen those skills, learn industry

defense and aerospace innovation. This position will support the
Sikorsky Mission Systems portfolio of programs. In this exciting
role you will: • Establish and maintain business rhythms for
program control, analysis, and forecasting. • Create, network, and
reconcile Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to enable critical path
analysis. • Compile, input, analyze, and report weekly/monthly
status for major program events. • Update the Integrated Master
Plan (IMP) with intermediate milestone status. • Coordinate with
major suppliers to obtain and integrate current schedule data. •
Manage schedule baselines and conduct variance analysis on a
weekly/monthly cadence. • Perform schedule risk assessments using
approved risk management tools. • Prepare and deliver concise
briefing materials to senior leadership and customers. WHO WE ARE

benefits package Basic Qualifications • Proven experience in
program planning/scheduling. • Expertise with scheduling software
(Deltek OpenPlan, MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, or similar). •
Strong organizational ability and multitasking skills. •
Demonstrated ability to write concise reports and present to
technical and non technical audiences. • Capability to work both
independently and within a team. • Comfortable interfacing with
senior leaders. Desired skills • Hands on experience with IMS/PSMS,
supplemental schedule integration, schedule risk assessment, and
critical path analysis. • Knowledge of Earned Value Management
(EVM) concepts and LM policies (e.g., PPMP 01, RMS Planning Command
Media). • Familiarity with DCMA data driven metrics, DECM, and
surveillance processes. • Excellent written and verbal
communication, especially for senior stakeholder briefings. •
Analytical mindset for variance, risk, and critical path analysis
with actionable recommendations. • Quick learner of new software
and evolving processes. • Proven collaborator across engineering,
finance, and program management functions. • Experience in a
transferable industry (construction, aerospace, manufacturing,
education, healthcare, hospitality, logistics, product launch). •
Military or defense logistics/operations background is a strong

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed
Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding
most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois,
Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington
DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the
salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final
work location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

Massachusetts, and New York is $89,300 - $154,905. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
