SummaryUnder direct supervision, he/she plans and performs
engineering, detailed CAD design, and other
technical/administrative tasks that are involved in the concept,
development and industrialization of our razors and blades products
and processes.Ideally you are a degreed BSME with detailed design
projects experiences in school or work, utilizing SolidWorks, Creo,
or related 3D CAD design tools.Universal AccountabilitiesThe
accountability of this position is to develop and apply the
technical skills relevant to her/his discipline in support of
business needs and objectives. This colleague is accountable
for:
- Assisting members of cross-functional project teams.
- Providing technical support to global Research, Development,
Engineering, Operations, and Quality functions to ensure
uninterrupted operations.
- Demonstrating solid, data-based understanding of the principles
relevant to his/her discipline.
- Presenting information in a manner that is coherent and
accurate.
- Staying up-to-date and proficient in key technical tools and
software. -
- Maintaining and expanding "knowledge base" required within
his/her area of work.
- Conducting all activities consistent with company and
departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintaining good documentation practices of any records and
data.Specific Accountabilities
- Assists in the development of new product and process
specifications and test methods.
- Additional duties may also be performed as assigned.Required
Skills and Experience
- Formal education and experience in Science/Engineering based
field
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering
- Basic skills in engineering computer software, engineering
metrology, and/or test equipment
- Good foundation of principles of stress/strain
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good technical writing skills ability
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Basic understanding of how to coordinate projects including the
design, execution, analysis, and reporting
- Ability to function as an effective and collaborating team
member in a business environment to support area of discipline on
cross-functional teams
- Ability to take initiative, think/work independently,
problem-solve, work in cross-functional teams, and
multi-taskPreferred Skills and Experience
- Relevant internship and/or Co-op experience
- Knowledge of CADWorking Relationships
- Key reporting relationship is with his/her supervisor
- Key relationships internally may include:
- Professional and technical staff in the department
- Professional and technical staff in other functional technical
areas

- Some travel may be required.
- Work space is appropriate to the project work being performed
(office, lab, pilot plant, etc.).
