Parcel Pending, acquired by Quadient, has been the leader in the Multi-family vertical for Smart Lockers for a number of years. Now with the global customer base and bench strength of Quadient, our solutions are being deployed in multiple verticals to include Retail, Higher Education, Commercial and Corporate markets, and Couriers. Our product and software services has expanded to serve these markets, generating opportunities to partner with organizations large and small to enhance and add value to the solution for our shared customers. We offer an exciting, fast-paced work environment, and we currently have an opportunity for a Solution Sales Engineer, Channel Partner Group, allowing you to make an immediate impact on our team and company. The Solution Sales Engineer, role is focused on supporting Parcel Pending by Quadient's effort to grow market share within multiple verticals through our Partner Program. This role will support both pre-sales and post-sales technical solutions for Commercial and Higher Educations verticals, by having a deep technical understanding of the Parcel Pending SW and HW Platforms, working in collaboration with the sales team, client success team and 3 rd party suppliers to help deliver the strongest Parcel Pending Value Proposition to end clients and prospects. The Solutions Engineer will also play a key technical role in partner relationship management, channel development and market awareness actives including participation in trade shows, Partner development webinars and end user demonstrations. This role also will work closely with the Parcel Pending Product teams to understand how to best meet the needs of our customers. This individual will be responsible for the following: --- Support revenue growth by providing technical application, product solutions and competitive expertise to the sales organizations. --- Product line expert providing technical sales support to Parcel Pending's Partner Channel as well as commercial opportunities. --- Documentation of all solution requirements including both technical and business drivers in order to create a compelling value proposition to prospects. --- Insure timely and accurate communication between customer, professional services and sales channel. --- Work well with the Parcel Pending Product teams and gain a deep understanding of our software Platform and the ability to integrate with potential partners. --- Provide product demos to help ensure a successful sales engagement. --- Actively participate in account planning and strategy sessions working within a team-based environment to ensure the identification and advancement of sales opportunities. --- Manage 10-20 active strategic partnerships concurrently. --- Drive solutions through a diagnostic sales approach with our partners, identifying customer needs to make effective solution recommendations. --- Participate in post-sales hand-off and future feature enhancements to ensure a successful solution implementation. --- Travel when necessary (may be 10- 30% of the time) for a key partner developments and reviews. --- Weekly reporting of activity using and/or Google Docs. --- Support and lead ongoing internal education for solutions to increase technical awareness and competency with the field sales organization. Required Skills & Experience --- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering) from an accredited college or University with a minimum of 5 years Industry experience. --- Proven track record of successful solution sales and program implementation. --- Experience selling software complex SW solutions into large enterprise accounts. --- Ability to understand all aspects of a client/cloud-based SW platform with a rich set of APIs. --- Knowledgeable on web services, REST APIs, and mobile apps. --- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. --- Ability to shape user experience workflows for customer infrastructure integration while at the same time provide flexibility of routes to the end goal --- Ability to multitask. --- Strong sense of urgency to move the needle on opportunities. --- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow documented processes. --- High degree of time management skills and understanding of prioritization. --- Must be a motivated, team player who is results-oriented. --- Ability to be an innovative self-starter and positive change agent within the organization. --- Ability to influence, coach and develop sales specialists indirectly. --- Strong interpersonal ability to work closely with team leads to support individual programs. --- Highly proficient Office applications, and Google Docs. --- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
