Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a
high school in New Haven, CT, with an immediate start through the
end of the school year. This contract position involves managing a
caseload of approximately 60 students, working collaboratively with
a partnering SLP. The role offers flexibility, as part-time and
hybrid schedules are also being considered. Key Responsibilities: -
Provide speech and language therapy services to high school
students. - Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs). - Collaborate with educators, families, and other
professionals to support student progress. - Utilize knowledge of
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to enhance
student communication. Qualifications and Experience: -
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). - Experience working in
school settings preferred, especially with high school-aged
students. - Familiarity with AAC devices is highly desirable. -
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work
with students and educational staff. Location: New Haven,
