Job Description:

Duties: Gathers and documents business requirements. Analyzes different

work streams for resource planning, and assists with fusion sessions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serves as liaison between the Business and Technology groups on

technology development projects, with a focus on maintaining

relationships across multiple operating units and systems groups,

including external vendors.

• Creates and develops detailed written business requirements

according to Fidelity development methodology.

• Documents findings from requirements definition sessions.

• Effectively defines and communicates issues.

• Analyzes and documents current workflows, identifies

opportunities to meet project objectives, and makes recommendations for

future approaches.

• Develops user definitions, use cases, and workflow diagrams to

illustrate business problems.

• Identifies issues and escalates them as appropriate.

• Conducts business requirements review, testing strategy review,

and testing triage calls.

• Actively participates in formal presentations to a variety of

management levels.

• Conducts UAT planning and execution, managing the identification

and resolution of defects with members of Quality Assurance, Technology,

and business partners.

• Creates production validation plans and execute with business

users and technology partners.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information

Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)

years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience

performing business and systems analysis within a financial services

environment; Or, alternatively, alternatively, Master’s degree (or

foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering,

Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a

closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered

or one (1) year of experience performing business and systems analysis

within a financial services environment. Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing business analysis of financial

services electronic trading operations, including application of

business analysis/software development methodologies (Agile and

Waterfall), and performing data modeling, data analysis, process

modeling, and use case modeling; DE using knowledge management systems

to support project management, communication management, and business

risk management, including creation of process maps and architecting

improvements for domestic and international business solutions using

Visio, SharePoint, JIRA, Quality Center, and Confluence; DE performing

business analysis of financial services, specifically trading, clearing,

and operations, including executing all phases of the systems

development project lifecycle, from requirements analysis through

implementation, including developing test documentation and executing

System Integration and User Acceptance Tests of FIX protocol, ISO

messaging, trading terms, flows and processes that support both personal

and institutional investing within in a matrix team environment that

includes internal and external stakeholders; DE conducting interviews

and developing and executing fusion sessions and retrospectives with

business users to gather complex requirements, identify system and work

flow challenges, and evaluate technology needs for mainframe and

distributed platforms.
